Monthly dinners offer connection and reduce the isolation of being an undocumented graduate student on the Berkeley campus.
They facilitate a sense of belonging, creating community among the few marginalized undocumented graduate students who have even less access to funding opportunities and struggle with ongoing survivability.
Each dinner costs an estimated $300.00 and the time together reminds them that they are valued members of the UC Berkeley community.
