The Othering & Belonging Institute, formerly the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society at UC Berkeley brings together researchers, organizers, stakeholders, communicators, and policymakers to identify and eliminate the barriers to equity & inclusion.
SDI engages staff and management to ensure staff diversity at all levels of employment, fosters an inclusive and welcoming workplace environment, and links staff diversity efforts to the public mission of the university.
Serving students from kindergarten through community college, the Center for Educational Partnerships is helping students overcome educational and financial barriers to higher education.
The division provides support, tools, and resources to academic and administrative units as they conduct their own strategic planning and assessment processes on equity, inclusion, and diversity.
