Originally from Virginia, Talitha is a life-long learner and advocate for education. She is a first-generation college student and she began her career as a teacher in Baltimore, Maryland where she taught middle school social studies. Following her time in the classroom, she began working in higher education and she eventually relocated to the SF Bay Area and was the Director of the Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute at the Goldman School of Public Policy on UC Berkeley’s campus.
