October is Filipino American History Month

Dear campus community, 

This Filipino American History Month, we recognize the vibrant and diverse contributions of the Filipinx American community to our campus and beyond. This is a time to celebrate our shared history, honor the achievements of Filipinx individuals, and engage with the cultural, academic, political, and social aspects of our community. A few highlights are below:

• October 1st, 2024 from 6-9pm at Senate Chambers: Pilipinx American Hxstory Month Kickoff

• October 25, 2025 from 11am-3pm on Upper Sproul: PAA Sproul Visibility Day (details forthcoming)

• October 25, 2025 at 6pm: UC Berkeley Labor Center Presents “They Are Not Going to Give it To You”: Celebrating Larry Itliong Day
