My name is Justin Loew, my pronouns are he/him/his, and I am currently a senior at Cal. I was born and raised around Central Los Angeles as the 5th amongst three older brothers, an older sister, and my one-of-a-kind little sister. I currently work as a Peer Academic Counselor with the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and as an intern for the Farms and Gardens division under the Basic Needs and Security Committee.
I believe in the power of storytelling as an art of expression, creativity, and freedom. We all walk through life with our own sets of experiences that inform our perspective of reality. Unfortunately, the jam-packed lives we live as college students often don't leave room for opportunities to reflect and digest the events that occur on a daily basis. I kindly invite you to take a few minutes to share a piece of your unique, beautiful stories with our campus, to give our peers and mentors a glimpse through the window of your perspectives, and to allow folks to hold up a mirror to their own.
