After a data collection period from July to October, 118 STEM diversity programs at UC Berkeley were analyzed. We consider this an underestimate and suggest there are at least 150 programs.

Programs address the multiple STEM fields. Cross-disciplinary programs denote 2 or more but not all STEM fields. STEM denotes all STEM fields.

Most programs target and benefit undergraduate students. Programs tend to benefit more populations than they target.

Disaggregated data analysis shows that URM, Women, Low-income, and First-generation individuals are most often served. A variety of diverse groups demonstrates the importance of each underserved population.
