Initial Results

The initial results of the analysis of STEM diversity programs at UC Berkeley reveal a comprehensive landscape comprising at least 118 programs, with an estimate suggesting the presence of at least 150 programs.

After a data collection period from July to October, 118 STEM diversity programs at UC Berkeley were analyzed. We consider this an underestimate and suggest there are at least 150 programs.

Diverse groups served

Disaggregated data analysis shows that URM, Women, Low-income, and First-generation individuals are most often served. A variety of diverse groups demonstrates the importance of each underserved population.
