This summer SACNAS announced SACNAS at Berkeley for Grad Students would be awarded Chapter of the Year at their National Conference for the chapters devotion to recruitment, retention, and development activities on campus. The student group SACNAS at Berkeley for Grad Students endeavors to create an atmosphere of diversity in the scientific community on campus. Often diversity has been used synonymously with inclusion, however we feel interaction with ones community is just as important has inclusion.  This is why we want YOU to participate in our student group.
