Charge
The 2007 BILD Steering Committee, charged to oversee its development, designed a process to encourage the entire campus community to imagine how our individual and collective ideas can make a positive difference on the Berkeley campus by expanding diversity at all levels and creating an atmosphere of inclusion. The Steering Committee issued an initial call to all campus staff (including student employees) and faculty to submit project proposals for funding of up to $50,000 by June 1, 2007. The projects selected for this inaugural round were announced in October 2007.
